En VIIRS, l'enceinte (+0,245) s'écarte des contrôles Edward et Kyoga; la bande régionale reste nulle. | Summary | This study tests the enclave hypothesis on Uganda's Kingfisher/EACOP corridor with shared vector geometry and two sensors. Sentinel-2 (2017-2025) maps 147 km² of new water and 1,047 km² of vegetation loss. The NDVI DiD after the 2022 FID is about -0.10. In VIIRS, the 15 km fenceline brightens (+0.245) relative to Edward and Kyoga controls; the 15-40 km band stays at zero. Physical disturbance and night lights stay near infrastructure rather than spilling into the regional towns. |
